This course is a very gentle introduction to the words and phrases used in the documentation and tutorials when learning about Google Cloud Platform.
If you want to start learning about the Google Cloud Platform, you will need to understand the words and phrases that are used in the technical documentation and tutorials.
The small bitesize lessons can be consumed when you have a spare minute or two, like being on-hold, having a quick coffee break or even waiting for another web page to load.
Not having to keep stopping when you are working your way through a technical article or tutorial will make learning that new complicated subject much easier.
You’ll need to select the “Bronze Level” subscription in your account, once registered to view the course posts below.
A Logical Learning Path
When you want to learn a new complicated subject, you would normally start to read a book, blog posts or watch some tutorials.
The trouble with learning a new subject, this way, is that you read the first paragraph or listen to the first few minutes of a video and you will read or hear several words that you do not know the meaning of.
When you get to words or phrases you don’t know, there is no point in continuing, this is the point, where you should stop and go off and find out what the word or phrase means.
This can take you down a bit of a rabbit hole, trying to understand all the new words and phrases involved in a new complicated subject.
Knowing the meaning of the words and phrases ahead of reading material or watching a video can save you a lot of time and quickly improve your comprehension overall.
When you have to keep stopping, maybe opening up a new tab in a browser to find the meaning of new words and phrases, you lose track of where you got to and that bit of time you made to start learning the new subject has quickly disappeared.
